Danee Garone is the Senior Staff Attorney for the Ombudsman’s office and specializes in open meeting and public records law matters. He joined the Ombudsman’s office in 2014. Prior to joining the Ombudsman’s office, Danee completed a legal internship with the Arizona House of Representatives. Additionally, he completed a legal externship with the United States District Court for the District of Arizona and interned for the United States Small Business Administration.
Danee has a Juris Doctor degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law at Arizona State University and is a licensed attorney. Additionally, he graduated from Arizona State University summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science.
