The role of the Ombudsman Office is to help people who are having a problem with an Arizona state agency, or who have a public records or open meeting law dispute with a state or local agency. We are an independent, apolitical agency that works directly for the State Legislature.

New Public Access Staff Attorneys
New Staff Attorney Danee Garone will now be fielding Open Meeting and Public Records Law complaints, concerns, and questions addressed to the Arizona Ombudsman-Citizens’ Aide Office. Additionally, he will lead Open Meeting and Public Record Law training conducted by the Arizona Ombudsman-Citizens’ Aide Office.
