 How can I become a registered voter?

You can register online on the ADOT Motor Vehicle Division’s website. Voter registration forms can also be picked up at county election offices, Motor Vehicle Division offices, welfare offices and other public offices.  Please see the Secretary of State’s website for more information on how to print or request a registration form be mailed to you.

What is required to be a registered voter?

Please see the Arizona Secretary of State website to see updated eligibility requirements. To be eligible to vote, you must:

  1. Be a citizen of the United States of America
  2. Be a resident of Arizona and the county listed on your registration
  3. Be 18 years of age on or before the day of the next regular General Election
  4. Provide documentation or affirmation as Proof of Residency.

You cannot register to vote in Arizona if (A.R.S. § 16-101):

  1. You have been convicted of a felony and have not yet had your civil rights restored. For a first-time felony conviction, civil rights are automatically restored upon completion of a person’s sentence and payment of any restitution.
  2. You have been adjudicated incapacitated by a court of law.
